Short, readable, and honest about what this is early software and what it cannot do.
These are the terms for using CC PlayCaller, at ccplaycaller.com and the free trial on this site. Using either means you accept them. They are written to be read.
CC PlayCaller gives you a considered opinion about the most likely cause behind a performance number, and a coaching plan to try. It is a thinking aid built from a method and a body of experience. It is not a measurement, not an assessment of a person, and not a source of truth.
Do not use a diagnosis from this tool as the basis for disciplinary action, a performance rating, a demotion, a dismissal, or any other employment decision. It has not met the person, it does not know your business, and it is working from eight answers you gave it. Treat it as a colleague's opinion worth considering, which is exactly what it is. Any employment decision is yours, and it needs evidence and process this tool cannot provide.
You are responsible for what you put into the product, for having the right to record it, and for meeting your own organisation's policies and your local employment and data protection law. If you record information about your team members, you are responsible for that being lawful where you are.
Do not use the product to harass anyone, to build a case against someone, to break the law, or to attempt to extract the underlying content in bulk.
The plans, agents and check ins you create are yours. Ask and I will export or delete them.
The method, the diagnostic questions, the scoring, the coaching plays and the wording of them are mine, and remain mine. You are welcome to use them inside your own organisation as intended. You may not resell them, republish them, or build a competing product from them.
This is early software run by one person. The diagnostic engine currently runs on a free hosting tier, which means the first diagnosis after a quiet period can take up to a minute to wake up. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no service level agreement. If you need those, email me before you depend on this for anything important.
I may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. If I ever shut it down, I will give notice and a way to get your data out.
The product is provided as is. I do not warrant that a diagnosis is correct, that a coaching plan will work, or that the product will be available when you want it. To the maximum extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability I do have is limited to what you have paid me in the previous twelve months, which for a free account is nothing.
Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
Everything described today is free. If paid tiers arrive, existing accounts will be told before anything changes, and nothing you already have will be taken away and sold back to you.
If these terms change materially I will date the change on this page. Continuing to use the product means the new version applies.
