CC PlayCaller

Stop coaching the symptom.

A number is down, you know you need to coach somebody, and you are guessing at what. So you tell someone to be faster, when nobody ever showed them where to find the answer. CC PlayCaller finds the actual cause in eight questions, then hands you the plan.

See it work

Three minutes, one real diagnosis.

From a slipping number through to the coaching plan, including the moment it tells you the problem is not the person in front of you.

The walkthrough is being recorded.
The fastest way to see it in the meantime is to run one yourself.

How it works

It asks whether it is even their fault first.

Most tools score the agent and stop. This one starts somewhere else: is this happening to anyone else on your team, and did it start after something changed. Those two answers decide every question that follows, because a problem showing up across people is not a person problem.

Step one

The fork

Three questions that separate a person problem from a system problem before anything gets diagnosed.

Step two

The read

Four questions chosen by that answer, then one about where the person is in their development.

Step three

The play

A full 30 day plan. Your moves, their moves, what day seven should look like, and when to stop.

What makes it different

It will tell you to stop coaching.

If the same root cause turns up across your floor, the tool says so and tells you to go fix the thing causing it. Most software would happily let you run fifteen separate coaching plans on a documentation gap and charge you for the privilege.

The plan changes with the person. A brand new agent and a ten year veteran with the identical root cause get different plays, because one coaching style for everybody is malpractice.
It names its second choice

Real diagnosis is differential. You see the cause it nearly picked instead, and how close it was.

It admits a thin read

When your answers did not point anywhere clearly, it says so rather than inventing confidence.

Who built it

Somebody who has actually run a floor.

CC PlayCaller was built by Juan Longoria out of a method called The Read, developed over years of contact centre leadership. The tool proves the method. It is not a repackaged QA scorecard and it was not designed by people who have never taken an escalation.

The short version

Came up on the frontline of a call centre. Took a site ranked 25th in the world to number one in twelve months. Led global digital care for more than 4,000 people to consecutive J.D. Power awards.

Read the method behind it or see how the system gets built.

Twenty minutes, against your own numbers. No deck.
